The European REACH-directive entered into force on June 1st 2007 and is a regulation intended to
- improve the protection of human health and environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals
- enhance the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry
- promote alternative methods for the assessment of hazardous substances

Authorization and restriction of
Chemicals for the whole supply chain of any substance/preparation/article imported to and/or sold in the European Community.

TTI, Inc. & Mateleco, a TTI company, are fully aware of the requirements given by the REACH regulation and has identified its roles and obligations to the best of its knowledge.
- TTI, Inc. & Mateleco, a TTI company are a distributor of articles.
- TTI, Inc. & Mateleco, a TTI company confirm that we understand our obligation under REACH in our roles either
as a distributor or importer of articles.
- TTI, Inc. & Mateleco, a TTI company, are located inside the EU. For our suppliers located within the EU we are
acting as distributors and therefore they have to fulfill the obligations given
by REACH. For our suppliers that are located outside the EU we are partially acting
as an importer with all obligations relevant to us.
- TTI, Inc. & Mateleco, a TTI company, do not intend to pre-register or register any substances as we do not
sell any articles containing any substances that are intended to be released at
any time. Therefore pre-registration or registration is not required.
- TTI, Inc.& Mateleco, a TTI company, are in contact with all our suppliers (located inside and outside of the
EU) in order to get proper information and to ensure the availability of articles
in the future.
- TTI, Inc. & Mateleco, a TTI company, will fulfill all further obligations with regards to Annex XIV (the "candidate
list") which is valid from October 28th 2008 ( Last update of candidate list Substances of Very High Concern was on the 20th June 2011).
We are in contact with all our suppliers, gathering all informations on SVHCs in order to provide you all informations on
a high service level. Should we be informed by a manufacturer that any product supplied
to you contains >0,1% SVHC w/w, we will follow our legal obligation and inform you
immediately. Additionally we are a member of the FBDI, an association with many
other distributors, working on a solution for easy sharing and data transfer of
required information in the scope of REACH together with our manufacturers and customers.
